Have received an email and all the £ symbols appear as #. Have checked with sender and the £ symbol is on their sent copy. Not appearing on all emails received.
Any suggestions?

When I send myself and email with £ symbol it appears as £ in my inbox. Could it be that the sender of the emails, although in their sent items it shows the £ sign, could there be something set up wrong on their computer?
