Can anyone tell me which fonts I can remove and fonts that I must not remove. All the fonts shown in "Fonts" are they all downloaded ready to use
or do you activate them as and when you want.I seem to have such a lot of them, some show as just small blocks, wingdings?? thanks,

they are generic to your operating system but if you want to get rid of them
Removing Fonts
To completely remove fonts from the hard disk:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type %windir%\fonts, and then click OK.
3. Click the font you want to remove. To select more than one font at a time, press and hold down the CTRL key while you click each font.
4. On the File menu, click Delete.
5. When you receive the "Are you sure you want to delete these fonts?" prompt, click Yes.

Thanks Santos7.At least I now know how to get rid
but do you know the fonts I should leave alone,
I assume the fonts used by IE6 and my e'mail program etc,I thought that there might be a NO list somewhere.
