Font size on internet

  DANZIG 11:52 20 Oct 05

Hi. I use AOL.(Stop sniggering at the back)

On some sites (not this one though), the font has changed size and doesn't fit in the window correctly and frankly looks a mess.

This is most noticable on the BBC website.

What has happened and how can I sort it?

In IE click on View; Text Size and choose the size you want

I used the 'ctrl + mouse wheel' thing.

I didn't realise it was that easy.

Thankyou very much!!

In the case of Firefox and Thunderbird you can use both the Ctrl + mouse wheel or Ctrl (and) + (or) - depending on whether you wish to enlarge or reduce text sizes.

It's also worth remembering that using other than the Medium text size in Internet Explorer then Outlook Express (where the setting should be replicated) is likely to print out e-mails in a larger font size than you might want.
