I have created some documents in a folder on my desktop and tried to save them to my cd-rw got error item 'E:\'that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved nearest match is c:\Documents& Settings\Joe\Local Settings\Temp 014265 Do you want to fix this shortcut to point this target or do you want to delete it.I am completely confused.
Thanks Joe

joe95,

Go onto my computer & delete your cdrw icon.

Reboot and your shortcut will be back to normal.

P.S. if you have a shortcut on your desktop delete this also, then create another.

If your trying to get rid of a desk top icon just drag, and drop it into the recycle bin.

Do you mean uninstall or disable? no desktop icon

I'm sure there's lots of people who can help you Joe95, best start again at the beginning. How are you trying to save these docs? What CD writing programs do you have installed?

I am using Nero5 with InCD all my stuff is backed up onto a cd-rw with another set in My Docs on my desktop. I started some new work and tried to save on my cd-rw and then got all those error messages, sharing violation and shortcut errors.
