Hi can anyone tell me is there away to password protect a folder, i have noticed you can make a folder private if you have your drive formatted to NTFS but my h/ds are Fat32 and i dont really want to reformatt.
Many thanks for any help.

If you are useing XP Pro/Home as an operating system why not convert to NTFS you can do this without a format as the process does not delete files, its a far better file system for many reasons "the link will help".
If you do decide to do this it is still recommended
that you backup your files and data beforehand, good luck.....

Forgot to mention that this conversion is not reversable once its NTFS
