Hi,
I'm running windows xp pro,Is there a way to keep the folders options on the left in windows explorer,Instead of clicking the folder icon in the top tool bar.
Hope you understand what I mean.
Thanks.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are asking. However, at the top of a Windows open page
click 'Tools'
in the drop down menu click 'Folder Options'
under the tab 'General'
'Tasks' gives you the option to...
'show common tasks in folders' or
'Use Windows Classic Folders'

These may be all you need to change. If this doesn't give you what you are looking for just change it. After every change make sure you click 'Apply' 'OK'

Create a short cut with the target as:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe

and use that to launch Windows Explorer

Also see click here for more info on the options available.
