Hello ! Happy Christmas !

For some unexplained reason one of my folders has recently decided to load up and appears on the desktop at startup.

How can I stop this happening ?

I'm running XP Pro

Thanks for the rapid response VoG but no it's not listed in the Start Up list

Is it by any chance listed in Start/All Programs/Start up Folder? if so delete the shortcut.

Try a restore

A bit drastic that one postie24 - I'm sure there's an easier way - just cant remember what it is !

Its the reverse of setting a folder to open at start up - whatever that is !

Nothing drastic about doing a system restore. It's simple and reversable.
