When windows folders are drag and drop copied to a new disk they take on the date that they were copied rather than their original creation date. Is there a way to copy folders and retain there original creation date?
Many thanks.

There is a command line tool robocopy.exe in the Win2003 Server resource kit that reputedly does this on NTFS volumes.

Otherwise I think you need a non-free explorer variant such as click here

Try a programme called Touch Pro. You can put in any date you wish. (sorry don't have a link)
