Folder Click Sounds

I'm using Windows XP Media Centre. When double clicking on folers in Windows Explorer, I used to hear a click. Now I don't, but I hear sound at all other times when I should. How can I re-enable this feature? Thanks in advance.

Meant to type 'folders' not 'folers'!

Control Panel, Sounds and Audio, Sounds tab and experiment.

No luck there VoG, I'm afraid. I've gone into the 'Sounds & Audio Devices Properties' dialogue box and ensured the setting for 'Sound scheme' under the 'Sound' tab was set to Windows Default. It wasn't - it was set to blank. So I changed it to Windows Default but I still cannot here the clicking sound when opening folders or goind back in Windows Explorer (My Computer, My Documents) etc. All other sounds continue to function as normal.

I know that this problem is not critical, but has anyone else got any ideas?
