My motherboard doesn't support a floppy drive,i have a spare FDD connector on the MOBO is there an adaptor available were the FDD socket could be used to fit a floppy drive cable to it,or is this wishful thinking on my part.
Yes i have a USB floppy but wanted to fit it to the spare front slot.

"My motherboard doesn't support a floppy drive"
"I have a spare FDD connector on the MOBO"
These are two contradictory statements, which is true?
If you mean that you have a spare IDE connector on the Motherboard then I'm afraid that I don't know of an adapter to connect your floppy drive to it. If you can find an LS120 drive (ebay?) then these connected to an IDE connector, could read and write floppies in addition to their own disks and fitted in a 3.5" bay.
