I downloaded the latest bios (1.43MB)for my m/b but when I tried to save to disk I was informed that the file is to large try a higher capacity disk. I am using 3.5 DS HD 2.0Mb disks which I thought were 1.44MB but under properties it shows they have a capacity of 1.38MB have I bought the wrong ones?

If I am not wrong, then the Floppy disk needs space for the format info or system info which takes up a small amount of disk space. If I am wrong then maybe someone will say so.

i'm not sure but i agree with Audel, its the same as when you burn a dvd to a blan dvd disc . the blank disc is 4.7 gb but your dvd file cant be no more than 4.46gb or it will not burn.. if i'm wrong i'm sure somone with more knowledge on this will let you know

1.38 is correct. The rest is taken up by the file system.
