Wow ... Demo - over 798Mb, downloading now, will be very interesting to try! Thanks, I will let you know how I get on - eventually!

Hi, yeah Great .... mind you I wasn't much good at bombing the targets to begin with. Lovely graphics and everything else - I will definately be getting the full game, pity it is so expensive, I will have to start saving my pennys.

Cheers and Thanks.

Save your pennys and stick with Flight Simulator 2004. You'll need a monster PC to appreciate FSX. There's been lots of discussion on various flight sim boards and not many people are happy with the way it runs on your average PC.

The demo runs brilliantly on my pc - I already have FS2004 plus add-ons.

Cheers

Worked perfectly here too - pity my piloting skills are not up to it.

Still useless with the flour bombs - but I did have a successful landing with the jet!

Cheers.

Took delivery of FlightsimX on the day it was released. Have got FS2004 with all the add-ons which runs beautifully at 40-50fps with all options on my AMD3200, 1gBDDR RAM, and Geoforce 7800GS on 8xAGP.

FlightSimX doesn't run beautifully on this system. With the sliders any more than 1/3 across it staggers along at a barely useable speed. Wind up the settings and the frame rates plummet to 2 or 3 fps - hopeless. The minimum spec they say is a 1Ghz machine - maybe at 640x480 with everything turned off this might just pass!

Sorry - I'm sticking with FS2004 for now. I've wasted £50 on FSX unless I want to spend a few hundred or more on a very substantial upgrade to my computer. Gutted is the word that comes to mind.
