Flight simulator 2004

I have recently purchased "Flight simulator 2004"
which is a fantastic programme. However my son is going to Australia shortly and wants to take it with him, i thought this would not be a problem if i copied the 4 cd roms and let him take the originals and i would keep the copies. The first 3 cd's copied ok, but it would not copy the fourth.
It does say on cd4 that it must be in the cd drive whilst using the simulator. I managed to copy it to my desktop and then hoped that i could copy it to a blank cd using my rewriter, but to no avail.
Can anyone shed any light on why this is happeningt please.

I think that what you are trying to do is illegal, apart from the technicalities as to why it won't copy.

He should buy his own copy.

Presumably you agreed to the EULA when you installed this software?

VoG, i thought it was only illegal if you copied and sold it on, this is for personal use.

I think you'll find that it is one copy per computer.

You can't copy the last disk is becuase of the copy protection it has built into it.
