Flash Player 10 Download/Update Problems

This weekend and this morning Adobe Flash Player carried out an automatic update on my Windows XP desktop computer.

Since then the Flash Player video screen display in a webpage appears as two separate screens squashed into the same screen plus a green dividing bar.

I have Internet Explorer 8 and, in Add/Remove programs, Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX and 10 plugin. I have tried uninstalling and a new download from the Adobe site with no improvement.

Has anyone has a suggestion to get Flash Player working again please.

Thank you 124.

I followed your instructions, unfortunately with no difference.

However by using the Flash Player uninstaller you recommended and an earlier Adobe Flash Player 10 (June 2010) from click here

I found the older version worked with no problems.
