Hi all,hope everyone is well

I've got a 80gb h/d fitted running XP pro and i have a 20 gb hard drive i want to put in as slave.

i'm ok with the fitting of it,but i'm not sure if the 20gb i'm going to fit as slave as still got XP on it.

if it has XP still on it along with other programs will it cause a fault and do i have to fit it and partition and format it before anything else.

there might be some pictures and music i want to keep on it is there a way to transfer it to the master drive.

Thanks Tony

Your computer will be set to boot from the 80GB drive so you should boot into the XP your using now [?].

The other drive will appear in my computer and it will not bother the XP you are in.

You can copy anything you want over.

You shouldn't have to partition it, format etc. It should appear in My computer.
