fitting a HDD in an external caddy ?

hi, just got an external drive caddy for my HDD of 60gb, on the back of the hdd it has the jumper pins, the choices are..

slave

master or single drive

enable cable select (what ever that may be)

could someone please tell what pins i use, there is nothing in the book that came with it..

Master. There will be a stick on the drive with a diagram showing which positions to use.

thanks, i had to ask because it has to all be fiited in the case and it looks like that might be a job in its'self..
