First time gaming PC build.

This is the first time I'm going to build a gaming PC, and I'm wondering what to really go for. My budget is approximately £1300,-

The main demands for the system is that it's easily upgraded later on, so graphics cards and RAM will be updated somewhere halfway next year. What I'm wondering is what motherboard and CPU (i'm assuming the 2011 socket would be the best choice) to go for, as well as whether to go for an SSD or not. Of course any other help is very much appreciated.

This one is a little over budget , but will not need any significant upgrading any time soon ( except maybe memory to 16Gb )click here . THis one is cheaper and easily inside your budget , giving you plenty of room to upgrade in the configurator click here . I would recommend upgrading the memory to 16Gb , the PSU to the 650w corsair , the MoBo to the MSI gaming board ,and if you can manage it , the i7 4770k CPU . which would take the rig to just under £1400 .
