When you say, you want to do away with cables to peripherals, what peripherals are you referring to?

Printer , scanner , monitor, hi-fi and maybe tele.
wife hates cables...............

Your printer may be able to be connected to a "wireless print server".

I've never seen a wireless scanner, although, for all I know, they may exist.

Monitor? NO WAY!

Hi Fi and TV, well you need to go elsewhere I think for advice on a wireless set-up.

In truth, you would probably be better off looking for ways to hide the wires, rather than eliminating them.

Thanks Lastchip,
I thought that this may be the case.
Just been told that usb2 cable can be faster anyway than wireless.
I'll just have to hide the cables
