I have Pc-Cillin 2002, and whenever im online, i get an attempt from someone trying to breach my firewall. and when i see what kind of attack it is, its says "NetBIOS Browsing". What is this?? should i be wary of whats happening? what effects will it have on me?

Netbios is a network protocol that is easier to use than tco/ip, and a lot less secure.
A lot of internet hacking is doen through the netbios settings on any unsuspecting pc thats connected to the internet.
If your firewall is telling you about these attempts it is doing its job and protecting your system.
It just means there is a hacker out there scanning all the computers he can find to see if any are vulnerable to and attack through their netbiosd settings.
