Firetune vs Fasterfox

At present I have fasterfox installed as an extension to firefox which at present works very well, however I have noticed a few threads about a program called firetune. My question is, has anyone ever compared the fasterfox extension with firetune and if so which one would be better to use in the long run?

With fasterfox it has five settings ie, default, courteous, optimized, turbo-charged, and custom. The first four are preset, whereas custom is what it says you choose what the setting should be. It also shows an icon in the lower right hand corner of the window with the time it takes to load a page. Does firetune do the same type of work or is it automatic. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks. J.B.

FineTune is easily and straightforwardly configured in a matter of seconds. See:

Saves an awful lot of manual configuring via about:blank...:-)

..should be about:config...
