I am thinking about installing Firefox but know nothing about it and require your advice.
Do I need to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 first.
Will I lose my Email addresses.
Will I lose my Favourites.

Also does anything need adjusting or are there any problems worth mentioning.

1) No
2) No as it is a browser and not an email client.
3) No.

It should auto-update/import everything.

You don't lose anything. You can import all of your IE favourites/bookmarks etc. as you wish.

You can run Firefox and IE and as many other browsers as you wish - all at the same time if you really want.

As with all software installations, you had best make a backup or System Restore Point first but I have never known a browser install to cause any problems.

FF 3 has some issues with performance - though some people have been OK , I reverted to 2.0.0.16 because it was very slow - ymmv
