Firefox won't connect, I keep getting this error

I have just changed broadband service when I changed the router for the service I can no longer use firefox, after 2 hours on the phone to tech support, I still can't use firfox and I'm being told it's a "compatibility issue" I can't use firefox if I use the service I just signed an 18 month contract with, this is the error message I get when I attemp to use firefox, anyone out there smarter then the idiots at tech support? Your help would be greatly apprectiated, No way am I going back to explorer!

Is there a reason you using a proxy server as not required change to direct connection to internet

Might help if we knew who your new ISP is? Also is it only FF that gives the problem or is for instance, your email service working ok or not?

Why not use IE and FF, this is what I, and I am sure many other members, do.
