I do hope some of our FF experts can help me.
For the past 2 days, on my desktop, FF has been running at 51-52% with total CPU usage constantly at 53%. No problems on my Notebook with CPU, FF usage.

Have checked with Malware AntiMalware - none found.

Should I uninstall/reinstall FF?

Many thanks

Chillie

Maybe remove any add ons that you have and see if it makes any difference. If so you can always enable them again one at a time to see if you can find the culprit.

My CPU usage varies almost from top to bottom of the percentage chart even whilst FF is not being used. I don't worry about it as I have Javascript Enabled.

Will go through my add-ons, one by one. It could be Adblock as I have blocked most of the Flash on the PCA site. Which is where I believe is my problem. Closing PCA reduces the usage to normal.

Stuartli, I did have a look at the sites suggested before asking you here. They have been bookmarked to be quietly read and understood.

Once again, many thanks
