Are you setting your homepage by using Tools, Options, General and clicking use current page, i.e. the page which is open at the time. If you are doing that the I have no idea apart from uninstalling and doing a re-install

can you change the homepage with no problem?

Are you running anti-virus and spyware software?

Have you tried re-installing Firefox?

Also (if you answer no to forum editor's 2nd question) try running spyware removing software. It could be a hyjack.

I use these, they are free and very good.
1...Spybot Search&Destroy
2...CWShredder
3...LavaSoft ARIES rootkit remover + Ad-aware

Hope this helps ;)
