Hello all,

A site I use regularly, has refused to open in firefox, since last night.

Just to see if anyone else has the same problem.

It opens fine in I.E.

the link is here. click here

Works fine for me.

Try FF tools>options>privacy tab, and clear your cookies & cache ?

Dorsai,

Hi thanks for the reply.

I clear my full cache every night using ccleaner, and all that is in it just now, is a list of sites i've been on today.

I think I'll save my settings, Uninstall, and reinstall.

You clean it using CCleaner, fair enough.

Have you tried clearing it from within firefox though?

Either way, I'm out of suggestions, ;-(

Your link workes fine for me.

Dorsai,

yes I tried it after your posting, but as I said all that was in it, was the sites i've been on today.

I have now uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, and everything is working again.

P.S. there were about three or four other sites that wouldn't open either, apart from the one highlighted, (mostly sites my kids play games on), and these are all back to normal again. strange!

Opera 8 and your problems will be over.

  Stuartli 13:30 19 Jun 05

You might need to install the IEView extension in Firefox if the websites are geared to IE.

Mr Mistoffelees,

Thank you, I've had opera installed for a couple of weeks now, but haven't got round to going through it yet.

Maybe give it a whirl later

Stuartli,

I have always installed this extension.

I've been doing a bit of work recently with VB files, and this could be causing a problem. ( not proficient) :)
