Firefox 3.5 not saving passords

I have recently installed FF 3.5 onto two machines. Neither seem to save passwords, despite this being ticked in the required box. Both installation were completely new ones, with all oprevious version comopltely removed. Any suggestions please.

I had a similar problem and through this forum received a suggestion to create a new Firefox profile it now works OK.

Try these settings click here.

Not sure you want to store passwords in Firefox, as it's not secure at all click here - i.e. if it still applies to the present FF versions. G

All sorted, I had not realised that the "Remember" choice is now presented as a bar at the top of the page.
