Firefox 3 not starting

  Digital 18:55 20 Jun 08

I've installed Firefox 3 & it seems to work OK but it won't start when I click links in an e-mail (Thunderbird); it loads into RAM OK but doesn't run. If I start Firefox first then click on an e-mail link it's fine. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just found the probable answer on a Mozilla forum, should've looked there first. It is something to do with having more than one profile in FF3; the temporary workaround is to tick the "Don't ask at start-up" box then switch profiles by using the Profile Manager.

Thanks Stuartli. I'll wait for a fix, hope they're not too long though, I don't think my other user will be happy having to delve into the FF Profile Manager! I could delete my profile so's it'll always start in hers, then use Opera for myself for now.
