Ihave been unable to use my Firefox home page since yesterday, saying server not found. Anyone else had this problem?

What's your home page?

I can get Google OK using Firefox. Have you tried the same page with IE?

I've had no problems going to the Google home page using Firefox.

Have you checked that it is still configured as your home page - sometimes it can change for no apparent reason (other than malware etc).

Yes, it`s still my homepage. I`ve run Panda, Ad-aware and Spybot and not found anything amiss.

This happened to me once. I re-installed Firefox and it worked OK then. I didn't lose any settings.

I have tried re-installing Firefox and the response was- The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Don't re-install live.

Try downloading Firefox to desktop or somewhere convenient via IE then install from that.

Sorry, mate. Tried that. A NO NO.

I assume you are on broadband. Try turning off your BB modem then turning it back on again.

Same thing occasionally happens to me, and that usually cures it.
