Fire Fox with vista question

I have been using Fire Fox on my XP PC for about two to three years now. Just recently I bought a new lap top running Vista and Internet Explorer I am contemplating installing it on that also. The only thing I have against Fire Fox is the number of updates it keeps throwing at me.
One question I have, is there anything I should do or be aware of before installing it on vista.

Good morning golfpro, I have been running Firefox on Vista Home Premium for over a year with no problems at all.

I've run the latest Firefox 3 beta 5 on Vista Home Premium without any problems. However until Firefox make the full release some add-ons haven't cuaght up and so don't run (on any OS, not just Vista).
