finding windows xp updates

  the_dude_rjc 23:25 15 Mar 04

after 2 weeks (dial up 56k modem connecting at 31kbs, download speed of 2.98k if i'm lucky), windows xp has finished downloading the latest SP. As i can't seem to get my connection speed up i'd like to know where XP has stored the downloaded file(s)so i can back it up as i don't want to go through this painfull process again! Can anyone help?

There is a way to save Windows updates to disk

A guide from Powerless

However it does involve downloading them all again,a pain if you are on dialup.

You can obtain a disc from Microsoft containing most updates(you will need a Hotmail adress)from
