Finding IP address

I am needing to find out the IP address of my laptop to put it into Norton firewall but windows xp home has set it up automatically and i cannot find out what it is, i sure ive done it before but can remeber how now, Is it a command to type in the DOS prompt???

start-run-cmd-ipconfig

goto control panel/network connections

right click on the internet connection (modem), choose status, then click the Support tab

there you will see your ip address, subnet mask and default gateway address.

If you conect and log into your ISP site you might find that there's a "What's my IPaddress?" link.

If you've not got a static IP it will change everytime you log on.
