Hi, I have a hard drive with 30 Gb free space. If I filled this up with recorded music, how many tracks would I have on disc? Cheers, Bill
Depending on the size of the songs I would say between 800-1000
Hi billyliv! My HDD shows 1970 tracks occupying 28.7GB; these are stored in wma Lossless format which is not the most economical on space, but gives a variable bit rate ensuring high quality.Hope this helps, Toxin.
I've got 450 CDs on mine encoded at 256+ kbs and they take up about 40gb.Regards
I have over 650 MP3, different kbs and it takes up 8.08GbSly Sy
981 files 3.95GB. As mentioned above it depends on the bitrate and length of the track.
Hi, Thanks all, When I have filled it I will let you know how many tracks there are. (Might take a day or two though) Cheers, Bill
