Can somebody please tell me where the following files are located on Windows XP SP2 so I can back them up:

Adress Book (wab files)?

Are you running outlook or outlook express if so go to file and then export, follow wizard and it will back up to new file and then you can copy to external back up if required.

click on 'start' then 'search' then 'all files'. Make sure 'looking in system folders and hidden files are ticked in 'advanced option' then enter *.wab to find the address book and then *.dbx to find the message files. When found right click on a file and secect 'open containing folder' Hey presto, there they are. I save these to a second HDD or CD-R then when I want to recover them, do the same again to find the installed ones and copy the saved ones to the same folder giving permision to overwrite existing files. Not sure if it's that convensional but it works for me. Garry.
