Evening,,,i am trying to run a game i just installed tonight.

When i go to run the game i dont have any visuals,,,just sound.

The file that has loaded at the bottom left hand side of the screen has the right name but the file folder is a white folder with a blue line across the top.

When checking the task manager my cpu usage has rocketed to 100%

Part of my DXDIAG follows:

"but the file folder is a white folder with a blue line across the top."

That usually means that the shortcut is pointing to the wrong "Target" for the file. right-click onit and choose Properties and see what the Target field reads. It's possible that the CD needs to remain inthe drive for the game to run properly, so if you're running the game from the hard drive, try inserting the game's disk, see if it makes any difference.

No difference with the disk in or out,,,tried installing the game around 4 times but still no joy.

And where does the Target point to?

"C:\Program Files\Activision Value\WSOP 2008\WSOPBFTB.exe"

I gave a friend the game to try and it loaded up no problem.
