Hi everyone, first post hope I am not to much of a pain!

I have home wireless network on which all machines can access the internet. However, I cannot share files.

I have setup the first computer to share the files I want, and if I go to network places on this machines, I can see the folders I have setup to share. If I go to Entire Network, I can see the workgroup, and this machines under it.

However, the second machine I am at a loss as to what to do. This is a work laptop and belongs to a domain. This means I have been unable to add it to the same workgroup as the first machine and so I cannot access files from the first machine.

Have followed these instructions, but still doesnt help

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to solve this?

Also, anyone know if you can use a VGA splitter to use have one monitor shared between 2 pc?

Might be better posting in the networking forum for an answer to the file sharing query.

I understand that a VGA splitter is to allow one PC to display on multiple monitors - not sure if it would work as you need. What you are more lilely to require to share a monitor is a KVM switch. This will allow two (or more) PCs to be controlled by one keyboard, mouse and monitor. Each PC will display on the single moitor when switched.
