File (Music) associations undo

  muscic lover 17:36 13 Sep 04

I use windows Me and am in a bit of a state with winamp music playing application.
I have installed it as the default player for all my files of music.... it has done this and all my files are associated with winamp3.

I would like to undo this option, any ideas?

thanks in anticipation!

The only easy way is to click on the file that you want, then right click and choose "open with" and from that choose the program that you want and tell it to use that program each time.

I do not have winamp but most other players have an option tab possibly in the TOOLS menu where you can select/deselect file types
