File Download box appearing?

I have been trying to look at a site for camcorders - click here - but each time I try to open a thread a 'Download File 'box appears and the only option is to 'save' it!! I just want to read the threads, not keep them!
Looked at different forums (including here, of course) without problem, so is it the site's fault?

Same problem here with FireFox 1.5 and IE6.

Works ok here. Can anyone provide a link (right click, Copy Shortcut) to an errant thread?

Win XP Pro, IE6...

Good to hear I'm not alone!!
But how to get round it??!! Always happens when you need to get in.

I can read without a download box - XP and Firefox 1.5

Perhaps it needs Flash or somehting similar, and you don't have it?

You should e able to see what the filename is it's trying to download.

I get to the site with no problems, no download box, XP-Home and IE6.

I have XP home SP2 and IE6, as well, but cannot access yet.
Has only started today, prior to that I could use the site just as normal.
The 'download' box says "unknown file type 1.08KB"

I have not put SP2 on my pc so it could be that! By the size of it, it looks like an empty file! I would be tempted to dl the file and then virus scan it though it seems far too small for a virus. Try opening it in notepad, it sounds about the right size for a cookie!

Dloaded and virus scanned it, opened with notepad.
This is what I got :-

<?php

require_once('./global.php');

print_portal_output($home);

It means little or nothing to me!! Anyone any clues?

Looks like programming script! Very odd, still think sp2 may have something to do with it but I am ready to stand corrected.
