I recently purchased Fifa 2004 for the PC, but there is one major annoyance.

when i'm playing the match, there screen flickers quite a lot. and it is definately noticable. i've been reading about a problem with the games refresh rate. so i've changed the game resolutions, and my monitors frame rate, but to no avail.

i downloaded the latest patch, but that doesnt solve it. and I've searched for a solution over the net, but nothing.

anyone got any ideas?

thanks,

Tom

1) What spec is the PC?

2) What resolution and refresh rate are you using?

3) What graphcis drivers?

3.06 ghz, 512 ram, FX5200 256MB graphics card.

refresh rate is currently 72.

and i'm on a resolution of 1152x864.

i've tried the different game resolutions, but nothing.

You vould try a refresh like 85 if your monitor will do it at the resolution u set it to sometimes the higher the refresh the less flicker
u get. Also if you have xp with the 53.03 drivers
there is a refresh overide option in the card settings if you go there untick refresh overide and scroll down the list to find your resolution
and then clcik the refresh at the side and set it to the same as you have for the desktop then the games should use the same settings when they start.

Agree with  ÑÌÇKÑÂMË - needs to be higher than 72 but not too high. 85 will be fine.

resolution of 1152x864 - try a lower res too...
