ffe{*****}.tmp - "NOT" - fff{****}.tmp

Thanks to "The PC Doctor" and "Taran" I have removed or disabled all mentions of "mdm" form my PC. I have not had a recurrance of the fff{****}.tmp files in the last 36 hours.

ffe{*****}.tmp files continue to multiply.

What else could it be VS7 Debug? Something in IE Options? something else in the Registry?

Anyone got any ideas.

I don't know if mdm launches every time you open a program but this looks like what is happening.

Maybe it's some other program with a similar effect?

Even the MS Knowledge Base does not appear to know how to deal with it.

Every time you open a piece of MS Software these things arrive.

My feelings are that NO Solution is not a satisfactory solution, but things being what they are I shall just have to get on with it.
