Hi, Every time I try to use Chrome Browser, I am requested? to do a scan with Reimager before I can progress to the search page, The entrance page requires a download and even if I click "No," it still persists. The entrance page is dressed up to look like it is a Microsoft programme, and McAffee is also lurking in there. If I do try to download it to move on, it is rejected my my Avast anti virus. Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards Carper

Does this help?

Also here. Note that the programs it suggests using for removal are ones that are regularly recommended on here.

Thanks for your replies. What I an trying to do is avoid downloading the programme so the programmes you suggest are for when you already have the programme, but I can't get round the opening page even when click "No Thanks" Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Carper

I think if you follow the suggestions in the second link, you may find the problem will go away as they are designed to deal with what amounts to malware.
