FDisk the /X switch?

Partitioning a drive in a laptop FDisk wouldn't let me use the /s switch but gave a list if switches and told me to use /X.

Can anyone point me to a list of the switches and their meanings.

P.S. The /X switch did the job.

/X Ignores extended disk-access support. Use this switch if you
receive disk access or stack overflow messages.

think this is what you wont.

Nice of you to poach the link I had already posted. Good going!

AAHH, Microsoft giving up secret information. whatever next.

That solves the /X switch but I remember FDisk showing at least 8 switches, P, U, V, S etc. Not going to re-partition though just to find out.
