fdisk will not recognise drive size

im trying to fdisk and format a hard drive. it is 80gig but fdisk says it is only 12000mb. what am i doing wrong?

i've downloaded the fix from microsoft and this has sorted out the fdisk problem...it now recognises 78gig or so, but format still only sees 12gig. is there another fix for this?

from the same page...a cosmetic issue only. the drive is formatted to its full size!

Not that i know of,when you fdisked did you select all the hard drive or partition it.
