fdisk doesn't work any more

when doing a re-install of my system, usually to
boost performance and clear space I usually use
fdisk. However due to a very unstable system
when using win 98 setup I ended up with an extra
partition and my second 80GB drive was only seen as 12MB. fdisk could not fix my problem so I used
a downloaded copy of some partitioning software.
I would prefer to use fdisk on the drive but it
will not see its proper capacity anymore,
is this because I used the other software ?
can it be put right by fdisk ?

Use killdisk click here to clear all partitions then fdisk should work ok.

this looks like the answer i need, thanks very much.
mind you i would have picked a less devastating
name than killdisk. thanks again
