FDISK

Im windows 98 at start up U can hold down control to get to comand promt and type in fdisk to delete/create partitions how is this done in windowsxp?

you will still need a win 98 cd or startup floppy to fdisk your drive.

This depends on the hard disk you want to work on.

Is it the hard disk that has or is to take the operating system?

Is it a slave drive that you would like to partition?

You do not need fdisk for XP :-)
