Just need to know.
When you have a dial up internet and a normal 56k modem
i assume you just use the softwere on your OS,win XP, but do you need a seperate dedicated line for a fax or just the normal call line you use etc.

Im on a business line
thanks

You can send and receive faxes using dialup but most people prefer the receive side to be done using a fax to e-mail service such as that offered by Tiscali.

I'm referring, of course, to a dialup internet service using the XP Fax Console or even the earlier Windows Messaging Service (Awfax.exe and wms.exe); the latter were based on Outlook Express and were particularly easy to follow for regular OE users.

As it sounds like you may have Win98se Supervoice is good software for fax and it is a answer phone etc
