Faulty IDE Cabel

Hi there, is it posible that a faulty IDE cabel could be causing my pc to crash alot of the time ?

Possible but more likely to be a memory or overheating problem.

Are all you fans working? If you have more than one stick of memory then remove one and run for a while, remove this, replace with the second stick and try again. While the side of the case is off make sure all connections are pushed fully home.

Give this a try and please post back to this thread if more help is required also it will help if you can give some information as to you system and software and if this problem has just started or been with you for some time. j.
