FAT32 and Windows XP

Thinking of setting up a partition for files etc that can be accessed and written to by both XP and Linux. Is there any way of formatting a hard drive as FAT32 using Disk Management in Windows XP? I only seem to get the option of NTFS.

You could try format it from a 98 floppy to FAT32, then just install xp on the existing partition , not formatting it from XP ....

If you try to format a partition of greater than 32Gb, WinXP will not let you - it will only offer to format with NTFS. The solutions is as above - format from a WinME/98 start disk.
