Fat32 to NTFS

As I understand it to change one of the partitions on my HD (I have emptied it and reformatted it) is to go to the prompt and type
convert e: /fs:ntfs/video
where e is my partition
video is volume name
The space between e: / is important but should there be a space between convert and e.
Running XP.

If you're using XP there is a much easier way.

Open "My Computer" - right-click on the appropriate partition icon and select "Properties" - select "Format"

The second box down lists the file system type, click the arrow for the drop down options of NTFS or FAT32.

Agreed, much easier with an empty drive.

Thanks both of you, thats how I reformatted but I didn't realise how close I was to the answer.
Why is "Help" on Windows so unhelpful, or is it just me!!
Thanks again.regards
