FAT32 to NTFS

It's been recommended I upgrade to XP for video editing which supports the NTFS from Win98se which doesn't. My question is: When I burn my cd backups from Win98se FAT32, what's the best way to put these back onto XP? Not even sure XP will take them. Maybe have XP in the FAT32 mode, reinsert my FAT32 cd backups, then have XP convert to NTFS?
Thanks for any assistance.

XP can deal with NTFS and FAT32 with no trouble at all.

Burn your files as you would and XP will just get on with it's buisness.

No need to convert to NTFS from FAT32.
