Using Windows XP I have fitted a spare HHD but it has a File System Fat32 how do I change it to File System NTFS Thanks

Right click the drive and format it unless it has data you need.

Fat32 is fine for XP it is not a necessity to have NTFS.

I have two new Medion Comps Desktop and Laptop only C:\ is NTFS D and E are Fat32 So is there a reason for it that I don't know about

If the Hard drive is over ( I think without checking exactly) 30GB it has to be NTFS. Under can be Fat32, no probs.

I have a External 200Gb Drive divided into four partitions one of the partitions is 124Gb all Fat32

And use on XP and 98se

You`ll find if you use XP to partition it will not allow you to do that.

It was probably partitioned using 98 or a partition app.

Yes first with Win98 for first partition then Acronis I put the Disc in the comp for first partition
